Kelli has been a photographer for many years; she was given her first SLR camera at age 15. Photography has been her passion ever since. It wasn’t until her pregnancy with her daughter, in 1999, that the focus of her photography shifted to people. A photographer friend photographed Kelli’s pregnancies, the births and the first months of her children’s lives. Having an artistic photographic record of her children’s growth was transformational. Now Kelli wants to offer that same experience to other families. "My goal is to capture my subject’s personality, to find the individuality in each person and convey that in my photographs."

Kelli has been a member of the Harbour City Photography Club since 1997, serving as president for five of those years. Socializing with and learning from other photographers in the community has kept her inspired.

Although mostly self-taught, Kelli attends workshops and seminars as often as possible to remain educated and creative.

Kelli is also a member of Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, an infant bereavement photography charity.
